David Ewles H(Dip)CP, ABIPP lives in
Scotland and is married with one son. He
studied Creative Photography at the London College of Printing from 1972 to 1975
and has been taking photographs professionally and for his own library since
that time. The folios presented here are of some of David's work in
Florida and Scotland,
but he has also produced folios of Europe and
Indonesia. He is currently working on an
exhibition, "Different Worlds"
to be held in Dunfermline,
Sarasota, supported by the Dunfermline
Sarasota Sister Cities Association.
David's work has been on show at the Photographer's Gallery in
London. Previously he had won an Arts Council award to
photograph landscapes, through a British Institute of Professional Photographers
national print award. His work has appeared in many publications throughout his

Scottish and Floridian lifestyles. These photographs show the culture and urban
landscape of both areas and visually explore the mutual attraction of the two
cultures. The exhibition will be on display in the Selby Library in
Florida in October 2002.
